This guy took a simple solution and over complicated it. Button on camera would have been sufficient. Use of 3 button batteries could have been used as a portable power source.

A simpler way is to leave the rfid device between two very powerful magnets. Bingo.

You can also build a circuitry with a capacitor and a coil if in your country this kind of camera is not commom

Good job, I'm going to make this one day as well. This is great if you don't feel like being a part of a global profiling system, RFID chips today are in passports, cards, and even some clothing, they are capable of creating a profile of a person based on their daily patterns, furthermore that's not enough for them.. chances are next generations will be forced to have them implemented in their bodies making freewill a difficult thing to keep.

Seems to me you went through all of this trouble with the camera and the only thing you need is the capacitor and a battery. $2

could a device be made to detect rfid readers? alarming the person being attacked of such actions. not to say. a person could have preventable ways for avoidance "rf shielding wallets."
